Opportunities 4 Volunteering

What we do

Opportunities 4 Volunteering has been created to help people with a mental health condition to find volunteering roles in Health and Social care.

How we do it

The project has been created to support you in finding volunteering opportunities in Health and Social Care settings. We can help you search for an opportunity that you’ll enjoy, and you can either use the skills you already have or learn brand new ones.

We can help you decide what type of volunteering roles would suit you, help with applications, go with you to interviews or help you plan how to get there. The service is set up to help you find something you’ll like doing and make the best of your spare time.

Volunteering is a great way to make new friends, build your confidence and find new things you like doing. We can help you find an opportunity that fits your timetable and definitely won’t affect any of your benefits!

You can self refer or ask a care professional to refer you.
