Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is the governing body for Westminster Mind as both a charity and a company.

Subscribed members can stand for election to the Board of Trustees at the Annual General Meeting each November.  The Board of Trustees have responsibility for good governance and future strategy.

Westminster Mind endeavours to ensure that the Board of Trustees is representative of people who:

* Have the relevant knowledge, skills and experience to help meet the aims and objectives of the organisation

* Have a real understanding of the issues facing people affected by mental ill health and of the principles of recovery and resilience building

* Are current users of mental health services, including Westminster Mind services

* Reflect as far as possible the make-up of the local population

The Board of Trustees meet every two months and they meet with the Management Team for an Annual Strategy Meeting.

There is a Finance Subcommittee which also meets every two months.
